FROM EVERYDAY MOMENTS TO PERSONAL INSIGHT
Why do some days feel lighter than others?
Time with people you care about, an evening spent working, a break outdoors… Context gives your emotions meaning.
AN EXAMPLE JOURNEY
Notice the highs and the lows
Record your mood and what comes with it. Pleasant moments matter just as much as difficult ones.
Look at what comes up again
Your entries come together in your emotional map. When there is enough data, comparisons bring out connections to consider against your experience.
Try a change, then look back
Choose a small change or an exercise. Revisit your observations to decide what you want to continue, adjust or set aside.
An example of the process, with no predetermined outcome. Observed connections offer possibilities to explore; they do not establish a cause on their own.

SCIENTIFIC FOUNDATIONS, A PERSONAL APPROACH
Research to draw on. Your experience to start from.
Seraphiq draws on dimensions studied in psychology and statistical comparisons of your entries. The method distinguishes what you report, what is observed and what remains to explore.
Read the method and sourcesQuestionnaires from psychological research
The portrait draws on the Mini-IPIP and ERQ to explore personality dimensions and ways of regulating emotions. It offers a reading of your answers for you to consider against your experience.
Explicit rules for exploring connections
Comparisons follow defined calculation rules: a minimum number of observations, a sufficiently large difference and a statistical adjustment when several possibilities are examined.
Observations to consider in your own life
A pattern becomes a question to explore. Add context, try a change and look back at what happened. When there isn’t enough data, the review says so.
A LITTLE MORE CONTEXT
Ways to understand what you feel.
Keeping a mood journal without making it another obligation
What belongs in a mood journal, how can you revisit your days, and which conclusions should you avoid? A simple starting point.
Putting feelings into words to take a step back
Start with good moments and difficult ones, notice what comes up again and explore a change: where does conversation fit?
A few things to know before you begin.
Can Seraphiq tell what makes me happy?
Seraphiq helps you explore what comes with your good moments and your difficult ones: habits, situations, relationships and activities. Your emotional map and comparisons of your entries offer personal starting points. They cannot establish the causes of your happiness or distress on their own.
What is the method based on?
The portrait uses dimensions from the Mini-IPIP and ERQ, developed in psychological research. Check-ins record emotions in context; comparisons follow defined statistical rules. These foundations do not amount to scientific validation of the app: its interpretations and adaptations, including French wording, need their own evaluation.
When will I start seeing patterns?
Your entries and first portrait are available from the start. Statistical patterns need observations spread over time and enough data in each situation. What emerges depends on what you record; Seraphiq doesn’t promise a conclusion after a fixed number of days.
Is it free?
Mood check-ins, self-directed exercises, favourites and your first portrait are free. Plus adds features including deeper portrait modules and conversations to review what you’ve tried. Pricing, message limits and terms are shown in the app before any purchase.
Where does artificial intelligence come in?
Portrait calculations and statistical tests follow programmed rules. AI is used in conversations with Seraphi, the wording of some insights and extracting themes from your notes. Comparisons involving those themes go through the same statistical criteria. AI can make mistakes; you can read its memory and remove items.
Do I stay in control of my data?
You can view what is saved, remove items from Seraphi’s memory, export your data or delete it in settings. Your data is processed by Seraphiq and its providers, including AI providers. Seraphiq is a wellbeing app and does not replace a health professional.
